Happy 4th and summer days!

I know I'm totally late with the 4th of July, but just thought I'd share the pictures anyway.

We woke up early for our ward breakfast and waterfight then went swimming and had a bbq with our neighbors, and topped it off with a night in Lowe's parking lot watching the fireworks. good times.

I don't know what I'd do without our backyard, we are out there every day! The girls have so much fun playing in the sprinkler and pool.
They love playing in the pool with their "guys" (princesses and all their little characters) on the little slide and pool out back.

I'm sorry I couldn't resist. We have been doing a little potty training with Emmy lately, but when you're having fun there just isn't time to take care of buisness, I guess.

Monsoon season is underway, it is my favorite time of year here. The mornings are ridiculously hot, but by afternoon the storm clouds roll in for a nice thunder and rainstorm to cool it down a bit. It has done wonders for our grass and garden.
