Can't get enough

I honestly feel so sad right now knowing the Olypmics are over. I became competely obsessed with them. I would turn them on as I tried to carry on tasks throughout the day but I always ended up sitting on the couch just glued to them. Especially swimming I just couldn't get enough. I promise I started thinking of what sport I possibly could pick up to compete next Olypmics - I was thinking about rowing??? The olypmics just looks so fun and incredible, I want to be apart of it!! Since they've been on I am so motivated during my workouts, cause I just feel like I've got to step my game up so I can compete, wierd I know but really am inspired by all of them. I love the incredible stories behind the athletes. I think my new favorite person is Dara Torres, she is amazing to come back the way she did. Of course Micheal Phelps was another favorte to watch - unbelievable. As depressed as I feel right now, it probably is a good thing that they are over cause they started taking priority over lots of house work that sure needs to get done. Although during these past 2 weeks we did start and finish a major painting project of the enitre house, having the Olympics on helped keep my mind off of what I was doing. Stay tuned for the next post - painting project before and after. I just got to get the house put back in order before I can give a tour.

Gotta love the summer

Since I didn't blog for a while during this summer I thought I'd post some of the fun summer pictures we took, most are from Utah those last couple months that were jam packed with family activities. Times did get a bit crazy at times with all the things going on, but what we wouldn't give to have those days back with family all around, we sure do miss ya'll. Sorry, kind of an overload of pictures, but there's just too many good memories to leave out.
Lagoon was so fun this year since both Maile and Emmy could go on so many rides, they loved it.

The girls absolutely loved days spent with the cousins

My new favorite place to camp in Utah- Pineview. We had such a great time hopefully it becomes a tradition.

Maile and Emmy were in heaven (except emmy at that moment) when the Esplin girls (my cousins) were around, so was I cause they took over and were so cute with them.

Love having Daddy around now for more summer fun

Tombstone anyone????

I have actually never heard of Tombstone, but it seems that many people have so in case anyone wants to come visit we only live 20 minutes from there. I guess that is where people take visitors when ya come out here. Here are some pictures to get ya'll excited for your visit.
Some of you may recognize Jessica (Quist, sp??) now Mitchell she went to Bingham and now she and her husband Tyler Mitchell also from Bingham are here until November for military, small world hu? We went out to Tombstone with them and Maile and her got put in jail of course ya have to bail them out. The town thrives on tourism so everything costs $ even taking pictures with all the crazy western characters who are walking around.

They had horse carriage rides, but we weren't willing to fork out the dough so this was as close to that experience as we could get for the girls.

The girls got a bit cranky so we didn't take as many pictures as I would've liked, so when someone comes to visit hopefully we can get more and better ones.

They act out a western scene with guns and whiskey every couple of hours here's a few "shots" from that. There seriously were so many people even women dressed in the fancy western dresses with hats and fans, they were decked out. One guy I really wished we had a picture of but he was too scarey to talk to he had a real glass eye and just a mean look. I guess he is supposed to be one of the bad guys cause he had a red scarf. It is just a totally different world over there and the more I think about it it's just a funny experience that I'm glad we had even though at the time we just kept thinking how can people live here and do this every day? It might be kind of fun to just pretend like you're living in a western movie for a little while anyway.

We managed to sneak a picture of this guy while he was doing a little dance.

Just keep me posted when ya'll want to come down for a visit.
