Preschool Graduation

Emmy loved being a big girl going to preschool this year.
So, I think I've decided I'm finally ready for Maile to start kindergarten. These past couple weeks she is restless and ready for a big change in her life. She is so bored with everything we normally do. She even hid from me for like 15 minutes one day this week, totally sending me into a panic, all because she didn't want to go swimming. She seriously doesn't want to go on bike rides, to the park, pool or anything we normally do. So, it's getting draining trying to convince her and bribe her into doing these things anymore, so maybe it is me who is ready for her to be entertained at school all day since I can't seem to do it anymore. It is going to be a long summer if she is already done with swimming and it's not even June yet. Plus the pool is a bit of heaven to me these days, it is hard for me to go one day without it!
Maile was really excited that she got to welcome everyone to their graduation, she loves being in charge. Emmy was a bit shy for her part but eventually did it.
They both had so much fun with their fabulous teacher Mrs. Laurel.
Daddy with the graduates and "little teeny".

With one game left in the season I finally got some pictures of Maile's second year of t-ball. I really wish they had soccer down here in the spring cause t-ball just isn't that exciting to watch, but she had fun playing so I guess that is what matters most. We did have some good laughs though, since she was one of the only one's who had played before she was a bit more into it than some. One game while she played pitcher (they get the ball almost every time) she got frustrated that the 1st baseman wasn't ever paying attention when she would throw it, so she started getting the ball and running it over to put it in 1st baseman's glove. Playing 3rd base or any other base far from the action she would run clear across the field to try to be the first one to the ball, sometimes she was a bit too competitive with her own teammates (definitely got that from the Kerr side). Playing catcher is always funny cause usually the coach puts all the gear on them and carries them to their position since they can't really walk with all the gear and then they basically stand there the entire time, but Maile insisted on really playing the part and putting the ball on the tee each time, so even though she could barely walk or see with that helmet, and it took her forever she would tell the coaches not to get the ball cause it was her job. Fortunately she gave up on sizing the ball up 10 times before she swung at it. Poor Emmy just barely missed the age cut off so she's excited to join in next year and especially excited to get her own treat at the end of each game.

Aaron's bball tournament

A couple years back church ball got a little too crazy down here, so our stake took all the church sports out completely. So sad, cause I loved YW ball and going to watch Aaron's games. In Utah one of his tournament games got so crazy everyone was off the benches in a big dog pile in the middle of the court, (both teams got kicked out of the tournament, but I have to admit I loved that I was there to witness it). Anyways he really misses playing basketball so he got a group of guys from work and church to come out and play once a week. Last weekend was a big law enforcement tournament up in Tucson so him and his bball buddies got a chance to show their skills. Aaron was so excited cause he loves this kind of stuff. It wasn't quite as much fun as he was hoping for a bunch of reasons, but he already is planning how they can win it all next year. So I know he still loved playing bball all day, although I think he realizes he's getting older and his body doesn't work like it used to, I mean he will be 30 in another month!!!
Not the greatest pictures I know, I took what I could with the 3 crazies. They did love the playground there, it had some new toys they were obsessed with.

Of course staying in a hotel is always the highlight, seriously these girls could be happy if we just jumped on the beds, had pillow fights, watched movies, played games, explore and trash everything in that hotel room the entire vacation. They love HOTELS!! What I love is how it feels so magical to leave the room such a mess and come back to find it all in order with clean towels and made beds, what I wouldn't give for that in my house.
