Finally!

Here it is the post you've all been waiting for (jokes) I've been waiting for. Aaron posted these pictures last night and I was supposed to give some details, but I zonked out, so here's the story. When I went for my appointment on Friday my cervix was still very thick and I was at maybe a 1 or 1/2 so I wanted to cry again. As much as I did not want to be induced, it was time since I was almost 2 weeks over according to my ultrasound date and my mom was leaving. I really wanted to go in on my own though, so I did attempt the castro oil and thought it had worked when I started having contractions Saturday morning that weren't very painful, but very regular for 7 hours. After 5 hours of them I went into the hospital only to find out I hadn't changed since my appointment the day before. So, we ended up going with the original plan (I was dreading) going in on Sunday night to get thinned out then start the pitocin Monday morning. This might be a bit more detailed than you care to hear but here's how it played out...... There was no way we could leave the girls again and come back with no baby. Maile was so mad the first time when we came back without her.I seriuosly couldn't even believe she was actually out. I'm sure I forgot exactly how I felt after delivering the other 2 but seriously this delivery was so hard, I really didn't think I was going to survive. I thought I was going to pass out, which actually I was hoping for to just pass out and wake up to the baby in my arms. The labor wasn't even that long compared to some people but those were the longest hardest hours of my life! My contractions started around 6 a.m. and I delivered her at 11:20 am. The last 2 1/2 hours were terrible. I was at a 9 1/2 for almost 2 hours feeling like I had to push through the contractions but they wouldn't let me and the pushing lasted like 40 minutes that seemed to be doing nothing but draining me. They thought she was posterior cause she was having a hard time getting past my pelvic bone, once she made it past which was 95% of the pushing she shot right out. The doctor wasn't quite ready, but I wasn't waiting another minute.I still was in too much pain to really enjoy this moment I thought would never come.yummy! Thank goodness she wasn't as big as I thought she might be. 7 lbs. 14 oz. 20 1/2 in. long
Born June 1st 11:20 a.m.
Maile wants to have a baby now....crazy girl!Feeling much better knowing that I was going to survive and she was a healthy little girl
Our 3 little women.
It was so fun to see the girls with the baby they thought would never really be here. Maile might be a little "too helpful". Emmy was a little scared of her at first and actually doesn't dare touch her too much. It's going to be fun.
After that delivery I said I didn't care what Aaron wanted to name her, I had done the work so I got to choose. Then I felt bad, so we were going to talk about it, but didn't get a chance before the birth certificate lady came around and Aaron wasn't there, so I just said Olivia Jill, but there is still a chance it could change. Right now we just call her "baby".
Even though my mom had to leave before we even were released from the hosptial I'm glad she could see the baby and come out for a visit. She was so helpful during that last week and kept me happy while I waited for this little gal.
She looks just like a little Aaron just like the other 2 did.
Grandma Jill with Olivia Jill (maybe) Aaron with his girls
Our new family 4 girls and a boy! Maybe next time we'll work on evening it out.

Wow. Congratulations Aaron and Jessie!!! I didn't see your other girls as babies but I SWEAR she already looks like them. She's adorable. And she's named after you, Olive! That made me so happy to see. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. How on EARTH did you get so far overdue with your third baby?? That is just mean and sad and really, really unfair. But I'm sure that doesn't matter now. Congrats!

Congrats! She is adorable and looks just like her sisters! I love the name so don't change it:) I am so sorry you had to be induced- I was a fool and begged to get induced a day after my due date. I swear that Pitocin is the devil's drug. It makes contractions1,000 times worse. But I am glad you made it and everyone is healthy and happy!

Congratulations!! I'm so happy to see you have another beautiful little girl! We just had a baby girl two weeks ago, so I can relate to the whole wanting baby to come on it's own. (I was induced again too) I'm just glad your new little princess is finally here!
P.s. How do you like AZ?

Jess Congrats!!! I'm so happy for you guys. I can't believe you have 3 kids now. That's soooo fun. I love all your family pics. Your girls are darling and it surprising how much Olivia looks like Maile and Emmy. I've got to catch up with you it's been WAY too long. Hope you're doing great. Please don't post anymore scary birth pictures like the placenta. You're going to scar me from having a baby.
